HAHAHA! The Mandrill again. Love it!

2. ts - 2 November 2010

Kaine has already ceded the House.

marisacat - 2 November 2010

09:59 PM OBVIOUS STATEMENT:

Democratic Party chief Tim Kaine has conceded what House Democratic leaders have yet to acknowledge:

They’ve lost the House. “We’re likely to end up with a Democrat in the White House, with maybe a majority of Republican governors, a Democratic Senate, a Republican House,” Kaine said on NBC News. “It’s a tough night for us in the House.”

ts - 2 November 2010

They still have 20 seats left to fritter! Man, they’re worse than the French.

3. marisacat - 2 November 2010

hmmm polls have closed in NV

catnip - 2 November 2010

Nothing up yet on the Las Vegas Sun’s site.

4. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

I think Sestak shot his load. He is ahead now by 6000 votes 51/49 ….with 90+% of Philly in.
82% of the state reporting…

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

LOL. Menendez humping Sestak but fails to mention Philly is already in..

PA Gov has been called for the R, Corbett. Some flake off for Toomey He isn’t getting all the R votes Corbett has in the Gov vote…

The “T” is notoriously slow to report.
D’ope! Sestakks lead is down to 300 votes with 88% of the State in now.

And here comes the “T” of PA the notoriously slow reporting Top and Middle third of the State, the Hinterlands…Soooo

5. ts - 2 November 2010

Based on how Sestak, Bennet and Giannoulas are up by 1-5% with about half reporting, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the GOP falls way short in the Senate – maybe picks up 5-6 seats.

marisacat - 2 November 2010

agree.. the senate was out of reach, pretty much.

😆

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Just like I predicted! 😆

6. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Only a pt between Giannoulias and whoever. Kirk.

Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

Feingold & Johnson dead even.

catnip - 2 November 2010

Recounts! Hanging chads!

catnip - 2 November 2010

MSNBC projects Johnson.

Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

some bunch of precincts just came in … the local paper’s count jumped from roughly even to a 17% lead for Johnson.

Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

our winger asshole Milwaukee County exec took the Gov. race, too.

marisacat - 2 November 2010

Politico shows Johnson ahead by almost 100K in votes.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

and ‘nads, too!

7. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Little Stephie looks a bit stunned.

8. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Oh GAD. GMAFB. Tweety lionizing Setaks heroic race.

With a 1.2 million Dem voter reg advantage. LOL.

catnip - 2 November 2010

Yes. Sestak was a little guy wearing a suit – or some such thing (??) 😆

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

with the ole Canadian class clown note taped on his back: “52”

😉

catnip - 2 November 2010

😛

CNN is projecting “52 or more”.

9. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Nikki Haley wins in SC

10. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Looks like Adler the D in Jersey 3 is going to Lose 50/48 with 99% in. Which is hilarious as they were the guys who put up a splitter …the Indy the Libertarian and the faux Tea Partier have close to 3% of the vote.

and MCAT , This is for You- boychick Murphy in PA 6 is trailing BAH BAh Baaad 53/47 with 80% IN

marisacat - 2 November 2010

oh I am glad… Murphy was one of Rahm’s little warrior Dems… and they sold him as anti war.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

But wait! Has Boober weighed in?! LOL.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Sorry PA-08 is was Murphy’s District

11. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Spin seems to be that the losses in the House will be deep enough that no face saving way for La Nan to stay.

She will “retire” after the lame duck…

Had it been narrow she would have stayed to lead the Fight to Retake the House.

Etc.

Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

ugh, does that mean fucking Steny rises?

marisacat - 2 November 2010

I would guess…. Business Democrat.

Never could stand him.

ts - 2 November 2010

Was talking at the dog park to a compatriot who grew up in Poland under Communism. He couldn’t stand Pelosi…said every time Obama spoke, he noticed she stood up faster to applaud than the hardest-core party apparatchik.

12. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Neck and neck in PA setak lead down to 600 votes now with 92% in.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

LOL. Sorry! Damn I need reading glasses.
Toomey now AHEAD by 3000 votes with 93% in…

13. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Cali just closed.

14. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Toomey pulling away now. Buh bye Joe.

15. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

LMAO_ Murphy got crushed: 54 / 46

Thanks Martin A BooBoo!
Go’head~ Take some potato salad home.

16. marisacat - 2 November 2010

11:05 PM OUT IN S.C.:

Rep. John Spratt (D-S.C.), the chairman of the House Budget Committee, has lost his reelection bid.

catnip - 2 November 2010

Jack Spratt who could eat no fat?

17. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

And the R just took Sestak’s old House seat
55/44

18. Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

Moore (D-Milwaukee) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Madison) won, a lot of the other dems here are going down in flames.

Ugh, the wingers here were already insufferable.

19. ts - 2 November 2010

House +34, Senate still stuck at +3. House might be gone within the hour.

ts - 2 November 2010

Times just declared for Johnson.

Buh-bye Russ.

20. Madman in the Marketplace - 2 November 2010

Feingold, btw, got almost no money from the national party, and of course the self-righteous fool wouldn’t accept any other outside money.

I think the dems are happy he’s gone.

21. catnip - 2 November 2010

CNN has Reid 54%; Angle 42% with 41% reporting.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

It would almost be fun to see him win just for the Scratch / Claw that will ensue…

marisacat - 2 November 2010

I saw a film segment questioning voters at a polling station…

People saying they HATED him, but were voting for him…

😆

22. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Can the networks drag out the reporting in PA any longer?
None of the networks are reporting on the Dem PA House delegation going down in flames…

catnip - 2 November 2010

Tweety hasn’t chosen his requisite movie analogy yet.

23. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Shea Porter lost

Dahlkemper lost

marisacat - 2 November 2010

Chris Carney (PA) too………… down the tubes…

Anotehr Rahm and Bill C special.

24. catnip - 2 November 2010

A perfect Repub name: Gov Butch Otter of Idaho.

25. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Rendell is on now saying suburban Philly has yet to weigh in for Sestak…LOL. Sestak’s down 40,000 votes and his House seat flipped by 11. Yeh folks are just lining up for Joe as we speak…LOL.

The only thing going on in Montgomery County is the Party hacks trying to delay the reporting to prop up the DNC …

marisacat - 2 November 2010

Zack Space (Ohio) is gone too…

26. ts - 2 November 2010

Times saying 54-75 House seats picked up by GOP.

Ouch. There’s no way to spin that other than you sucked more than anyone else has sucked before.

Lipless is going to chew off the rest of his own face.

marisacat - 2 November 2010

Oh I would pay cash to see that.

I would.

OK…. Gaspard is toast. I would guess Axe is on a plane now to Chicago…………… 😆

They will “promote” Lipsless… and if really dumb will be putting Bill Burton (dumber than rocks imo) in as Media or whatever they call it.

ts - 2 November 2010

Promote him, whatever, just get him off the podium to a non-speaking role. He’ll do less damage that way. Shuffle those deck chairs real good.

27. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

They should be calling it soon for Toomey..
the spread is 4 points now…with 97% in…

Sorry to be watching this train wreck in slo-mo…

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

And frankly they have Rendell blabbering on MSNBC as a log jam

marisacat - 2 November 2010

The ONLY good thing I would ever say about Rendell is he was the ONLY Dem willing to show his face the day after 2004 election.

La Nana crawled out the next day, quoting Scripture. That sick old ecdysiaste, Lou Dobbs, laughed in her face.

28. marisacat - 2 November 2010

Carly opens in the lead, less than 9% in

Meg and Jerry neck in neck, 8% in

29. catnip - 2 November 2010

Reid 52%
Angle 44%

52% in

30. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Illinois boy Markos says and I quote..

Illinois and Pennsylvania are likely lost.

😳

31. catnip - 2 November 2010

Wow. Boehner is an extra shade of l’orange tonite.

catnip - 2 November 2010

ZOMG – now he’s crying.

ts - 2 November 2010

I’m just going to mute all the triumphant bs. Look, you won the fight when your opponent punched himself in the face and fell out of the ring into a vat of rabid lobsters.

32. ts - 2 November 2010

40 seats, 8:41pm

33. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

And from DK– 😆

Nice try, Trolly McTrollbit. (18+ / 0-)

You must think we’re as dumb as GOP voters.

Liberty, Equality, Opportunity.

BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

LOL. The mofo registered as “Daily Kos” User 275K or something…

34. marisacat - 2 November 2010

DeMint has a shot across the bow up in the WSJ…

snip via Ben Smith:

Consider what former GOP senator-turned-lobbyist Trent Lott told the Washington Post earlier this year: “As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them.”

Don’t let them. Co-option is coercion. Washington operates on a favor-based economy and for every earmark, committee assignment or fancy title that’s given, payback is expected in return. The chits come due when the roll call votes begin. This is how big-spending bills that everyone always decries in public always manage to pass with just enough votes.

And the three judges who ruled for SSM in Iowa are just about to be recalled… on a ballot measure, apparently.

Meanwhile, in Iowa, a campaign to boot three Supreme Court justices who ruled same-sex marriage mandated by the state constitution appears to be on the brink of success. With more than half the vote in, majorities are voting “no” on retaining the jurists, a serious setback for the gay rights movement’s attempts to advance same-sex marriage through state courts.

35. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

Fuck Boehenr is a blubbering mess.
Oh God I think he’s lit up.
He sounds drunk as hell. LOL.

marisacat - 2 November 2010

that sounds like just what I might have expected… Tho I thought he’d hold it in til later.. not in the first flush of all polls closed (but mail in OR and Alaska)

36. BooHooHooMan - 2 November 2010

They just called it for Babs.

37. marisacat - 2 November 2010
