Anybody see the Breaking News in the New York Times?

In Tapes, Nixon Rails About Jews and Blacks

New York Times No Longer Recognizes Israel as a Country.

Seem to have just plum forgot to mention ’em!
Oh BIG TIME Snicker Snax. The New York Times seem to have just plum forgot to mention ’em
… in ah, their country by country list.

Nope, not in here!™

UPDATED Dec. 8, 2010
A Selection From the Cache of Diplomatic Dispatches

Nope, not in there!™

Really. wow. Nixon? I don’t even have a clock or calender , I just check the NYT on the web to figure out when the weekend rolls around and Israel is being given a pass over some sordid shit or other.

Why don’t they publish the Tel Aviv cable on the scope of IDF backed organized crime given free reign?

marisacat - 11 December 2010

NBC played some snippet of Jewish slithr from Nixon, taking with Colson. Ok mayb I never heard that exact conversation, but I sure have heard Nixon on The Jews before. With Billy Graham in particular.

They have been happy to dish taht stuff up for years. I found his comments on Reagan, whcih some other channel played, more interesting.

marisacat - 11 December 2010

Why don’t they publish the Tel Aviv cable on the scope of IDF backed organized crime given free reign?

Yum yum .. but not to their taste I would guess… 🙄

And maybe our Fifth Columnists in the Fourth Estate can track down some of these names in the latest court filing against Madoff.

Perhaps they could tell us who precisely these Hasidim criminals are.

And why Mordechai Landau, another DUAL, operating an apartment building in Brooklyn that ah, just happened to BLOW UP killing occupant Julius Drecketts inside…was only charged with building code violations and illegal apartment conversion?

When Barham went to work for Landau in the building on June 14, 2004, he had to
move and cover up the pipes, and work on the gas lines. Barham claimed to have brought along
another worker, who he identified only as “Sonny,” to help him. They turned off the gas in the building and got started with the plumbing. According to the indictment, at the end of the
workday, Barham put the gas back on and smelled gas. He then tried to light the hot water heater, but the pilot light did not go on. He then left the building without turning off the gas or trying to rectify the problem. Sonny has never been identified.

The next morning when the tenant in the rear first floor apartment, Julius Drecketts, turned on the stove, there was a massive explosion. The blast blew out the entire back wall of the
and badly damaged Drecketts’ apartment and the other apartments located upstairs.

Drecketts suffered burns to 95% of his body. He was rushed to the Cornell Burn Unit in Manhattan where he died as a result of the burns on June 30th. When fire marshals and police detectives went to the scene to investigate, they searched
the basement and discovered a pipe “T” connection with an open end and nothing capping it. Two outlets were covered by piping, but the third was completely uncovered, causing a major gas leak.

When confronted with this information, Barham blamed the incident on his helper,Sonny.
District Attorney Hynes said, “This was an..

Wait for it! –

unfortunate incident 😦

Trademark!! Drink!

…. which could have easily
been avoided. With their careless and irresponsible actions, Bernard Barham and Mordechai Landau put the lives of everyone in that building in danger and killed an innocent man. We will seek the maximum penalties allowed in both defendants’ cases.” 😆
DOI Commissioner Rose Gill Hearn said, “The defendants’ negligence and selfish desire
to cut costs had tragic consequences. Both defendants deliberately failed to adhere to safety
codes and regulations, which were put in place to help prevent disasters like the one that killed
Julius Drecketts.”

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Bureau Chief Mike Spanakos of the Rackets Division. Michael Vecchione is Chief of the Rackets Division. Detective Michael Stumpf of NYPD and Fire Marshals Ernest Medaglia and Lawrence Pliska
of FDNY investigated this case.

HA! Holbrooke in “critical condition”.

Well I would not wish ICU on anyone, but… I think we can do without him. My oldnickname for him was “the rock that speaks”. I think we can wave buh bye.

Veteran diplomat Richard Holbrooke was in critical condition Saturday at George Washington University Hospital after surgery to repair a tear in his aorta. ….

Holbrooke “is in critical condition and has been joined by his family,” State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said in a statement. …

The surgery was very long, an official and friend said Saturday, saying “either way, I think his life has permanently changed.” ….

BooHooHooMan - 11 December 2010

Sounds like he blew a AAA while at the State Department. It is… a difficult situation, shall we say, to repair on an emergent basis.

Poor Richard, caught between a difficult situation and the fierce urgency of now.

Buh bye.

BooHooHooMan - 11 December 2010

And the DiploSpeak a DoS’r offered

= certain brain death within minutes of aortic aneurysm rupture…and Unlike the partial cranial disecting anuerysms Knob Arlen and Johnson had up top, if it was a complete thoracic or abdominal rupture, he’s toast. 1 in 3 make it to the O.R. alive. Hypovolemic shock, etc.

Shame. And this is so wrong – Felled in the chest or abdomin resulting in a Brain Drain while the heart, always in its right place, mindlessly pumps on. As it doesn’t quite acknowledge the ROADMAP is bogus for those precious bodily fluids to keep circulating in peace.

We simply can’t negotiate blood flow, (talk about irony there) . No we can’t.

Hedge Fund Guy Says Rich People are President’s “Battered Wives”

After encouraging recipients of his email to buy the dating/relationships book He’s Just Not That Into You—ostensibly to show just how “with it” he is, in a mid-aughts way—Loeb, a former Obama supporter, launches into his weird and offensive comparison:

I am sure, if we are really nice and stay quiet, everything will be alright and the President will become more centrist and that all his tough talk is just words; I mean he really loves us and when he beats us, he doesn’t mean it; he just gets a little angry….i mean when I am alone with him -at $30,000 a plate fund raisers-he’s really nice and once I got invited to the White House! It was so cool, because I could tell all my friends…and when he gives speeches, I mean i get to sit in the front row and my friends see me on TV…..and he usually doesn’t hit me in the face to it doesn’t show except for that one time…he’s not that bad really, unless he gets drunk (from power) and…..well, he really does love me or he wouldn’t invite me to all those $30,000 a plate fund raisers and ask my opinion all the time, right?

marisacat - 11 December 2010

People have to stop this silliness… Dems as battered spouses, the Rich for ObRama as battered.

Jesus. It’s High Fakery Politics.

If there is any “battering” it’s some nasty cheap thick commercial frying batter they all rolled in and are now obsessively LICKING off each other.

12. ms_xeno - 11 December 2010

Sorry. I know I linked to it last thread, but here’s Tom Hayden’s response to Halle’s team and their plans to protest President Asshole this month.

…But I also think we need an outside/inside strategy that shifts public opinion more and more against the war. We need to persuade the undecided, not simply to create images of dissent. The peace movement will grow steadily in the months ahead, on its own, but also in its relation to other compelling causes, among them: Wall Street regulation, clean energy/green jobs, and the steady shift towards an unfettered market philosophy over our lives. Civil disobedience can light a flame, but the case for thoroughgoing radical reform must be made on our streets, our workplaces, our religious institutions, and yes, within the Democratic Party – whose overwhelming majority support progressive objectives. Members of the Progressive Democrats of America, and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, are vital elements of our movement.

I would like every person who signed this letter to read it again, and be kind enough to retract their signatures or explain why.

This is not the time to inflict internal damage on a community which is already weak enough. It’s important to get a grip…

In other words, Bawwwwwwww! Don’t be so mean to President Asshole! He tries soooooo haaaaaard!! You insubordinate nits are making IMPORTANT people like meeeee look baaaaaaaad!! Bawwwwwww!!!

Hayden must have been something other than a weak-ass, condescending, egotistical shithead once upon a time, right? Right?!

marisacat - 11 December 2010

well my old nickname for TH, back in th 70s I guess, when he ran for an LA-Jewish-man-named-Berman-controlled-seat in the California senate… was “Wears A Three Piece Suit That Zips Up The Back”.

What he was like before Fonda (whom I never cared for,tho anyone wiht a chilly ad distant father, who finds out, by accident, at 12 that her own mother committed suicide by slitting her own throat, has issues) and back in the days of the original Port Huron statement, I have no idea.

Angry Arab has been ahppy to tell of quite a few times tat Tom and Jane played footsie in Israel iwth the Israelis, more than once when big stuff, war stuff was happening.

BooHooHooMan - 11 December 2010

Welp, Ted Turner IS the punchline.
via Bloomberg the other day…

Turner Lost CNN, Fonda, Fortune, Feels ‘Like a Dummy’ (Update1)
By Brett Pulley and Anita Sharpe – October 16, 2009 15:18 EDT

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) — Ted Turner, the cable television pioneer who became one of the richest Americans, recalls the pain of losing his job at Time Warner Inc., his wife, the actress Jane Fonda, and $7 billion of his fortune.

“It was like having my heart ripped out,” Turner said yesterday in an interview in New York. The founder of Turner Broadcasting System and the 24-hour cable news channel CNN, Turner said that he has “a couple billion” dollars left, including $700 million in Treasury bills.

The dick sold a global media presence and now has his money in U.S. Treasuries. Which ah, have fuckin plummeted. So I bet Ted’s puckered mustachio’d asshole is hoping that THAT TOILET PAPER holds out. 😆

Maybe he can make another big show of a philanthropy scam.

WikiLeaks on the Vatican as they conspire to follow U.S. Environmental doctrine

(C) Conversi was pleased overall with the process leading to Copenhagen and with the Conference itself. He said expectations were too high before the event. Regarding the group of dissenting countries, including Venezuela and Cuba, Conversi said the Vatican was sympathetic to their complaints about inclusion in decision-making but believed their criticism was largely politically motivated. Noting that Pope Benedict had firmly established his “green” reputation using his New Years’ Day Peace message to highlight environmental protection (ref. B), Conversi said he looked forward to further collaboration with the U.S. prior to Bonn and Mexico City.
¶4. (U) In a separate meeting, Monsignior James Reinert, the environmental analyst at the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace (a Vatican think tank), confirmed to P/EOff that the profile of environmental issues in the Vatican is at an all-time high. Secretariat of State officers represented the Holy See at environmental meetings now, where in the past his own office would have had the lead. (Note: Justice and Peace will continue to produce analytical documents on environmental issues for bishops around the world, while the Secretariat will have the lead on policy, particularly in multilateral fora.)
¶5. (C) Comment: Conversi’s offer to support the U.S., even if discreetly, is significant because the Vatican is often reluctant to appear to compromise its independence and moral authority by associating itself with particular lobbying efforts. Even more important than the Vatican’s lobbying assistance, however, is the influence the Pope’s guidance can have on public opinion in countries with large Catholic majorities and beyond. End Comment.

So apparently some wingers are upset that Elizabeth Edwards didn’t talk about Gawd in her goodbye in a way she should have

That she seemed to carefully evade a mention of God or Jesus or things eternal and Christian was striking, and it struck some as “odd,” in the words of “American Power” blogger and neocon Donald Douglas.

“I can’t say what it is — spiritual or otherwise — that animates her sense of grace, but it’s not God,” Douglas wrote before proceeding to add some even less graceful conjecture.

“Being anti-religion is cool, so Edwards’ non-theological theology gets props from the neo-communists,” he said. “Still, at her death bed and giving what most folks are calling a final goodbye, Elizabeth Edwards couldn’t find it somewhere down deep to ask for His blessings as she prepares for the hereafter? I guess that nihilism I’ve been discussing reaches up higher into the hard-left precincts than I thought.”

Douglas drew some sharp critiques in the comments on his post but also strong support, and even in the report on the faith angle at Christianity Today — the leading mainstream evangelical publication — some commenters rued Edwards’ apparent lack of orthodox Christian faith.

marisacat - 11 December 2010

that was about the best thing about them, they did not invoke god a lot, I noticed it when they announced the return of her cancer.

Course, other than that, they were pretty ordinary… imo. (well, they did flame out big, but other than that….)

ms_xeno - 11 December 2010

So tired of Christians and their ever-so-frail little egos. Yes, Darlings, everything must be all about you you you all the time. Faith or lack of faith is always your personal business, to the point where you horn in on a woman’s dying moments to claim that she’s feeding “nihilism” or “neo-communism” or whatever. Like you know your asses from a hole in the ground regarding either of those things.

Well done. You made me care about a public figure whose life never previously interested me in the slightest. If she managed to hurt your delicate sensibilities one last time, she couldn’t have been all bad.

Fucking narcissists. If God really exists, he should give each and every one of you a backhanded slap, pronto.
