Seems Vancouver is all whupset that war criminal George Bush is heading their way for some speechifying. Please! Bill will be there too.

2 birds, shall we say….

Whack at ’em both. Other wise it is just partisan fakery egomania. And the various and sundry pols, boys and girls alike, are laughing at the neighbors, to say nothing of the domestic electorate.

They laugh a lot  –  at us.

Enh.

Chinese police show off a new crowd control weapon, a giant fork, during a drill in Beijing

Looks dicey to me. I guess it is ”modern”, and not ”medieval”, in that it lacks additional prongs.

Lovely.

apparently there were black blocs infiltrated in the manifestation who turned the manifestation violent, and leftist groups and other pacific demonstrators helped the police to capture them.
So much for your anti-left propaganda.   Those round shields are so silly though, it almost looks like 300.

Gladio:   Google  ~  Wiki:

Operation Gladio (Italian: Organizzazione Gladio) is the codename for a clandestine NATOstay-behind” operation in Italy after World War II. Its purpose was to continue anti-communist actions in the event of a shift to a Communist party led government. Although Gladio specifically refers to the Italian branch of the NATO stay-behind organizations, “Operation Gladio” is used as an informal name for all stay-behind organizations, sometimes called “Super NATO”. The name Gladio is the Italian form of gladius, a type of Roman shortsword.[1]

Operating in many NATO and even some neutral countries,[2] Gladio was part of a series of national operations first coordinated by the Clandestine Committee of the Western Union (CCWU), founded in 1948. After the creation of NATO in 1949, the CCWU was integrated into the Clandestine Planning Committee (CPC), founded in 1951 and overseen by SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers, Europe), transferred to Belgium after France’s official withdrawal from NATO’s Military Committee in 1966 — which was not followed by the dissolution of the French stay-behind paramilitary movements.  […]

Enjoy it now…

I sent this around after I scammed it from SMBIVA… it is very cheering!!  And so is the thread!  Few are buying the really really REALLY bad script that Mullen and Holder and Slob cobbled together (Three Stooges, of a no humor variety… ?).

5 stooges?  Panetta and Petraeus too?  How many fascists in DC does it take to tell a dumb fuck of a lie?  (Too many, but it’s a tough job!)

AND one person I sent the NYT post at The Lede to wrote back:

It’s so over. The only thing that can stop it now is a picture of Mittens hanging out of his magic underwear with anyone but Ann.

Here’s hoping… all I ask is that the R low-ball the Flotus ”job”.  Give us all a rest from the mania.  I feel we are safe, Ann Romney has enough children and g-children.

**************

Oh FFS… no energy to read it now, but I just noticed this headline:

Saudi Claims Alleged Iranian Plotter Also Orchestrated Bahrain Unrest

from an earlier post at The Lede.  This is getting super dooper insulting.  It’s bad enough to be on a dog leash with Israel, but with the Saudis too!, at the same time!, is too much!!

A gallery at the Guardian shows a lot more stress elsewhere in the flooding. I esp liked this pic, of a woman, hopefully floating to dry land, with her two cats (great cats) and a dog.
